One of the world's largest and biggest TV stars Oprah Winfrey threw out the ceremonial first pitch on Jackie Robinson Day before the New York Mets faced the San Diego Padres at Citi Field in New York. 'She has quite the arm,' said a local catcher. The recorded speed of her pitch was 94 mph. The Mets are in talks about potentially signing her. 'It's such a huge honor to be able to throw the first pitch, its been years since big stars have had that honor.' said TV Host Oprah Winfrey. Big stars have been banned from major league baseball opening ceremonies for 19 years thanks to the careless performance of comedian Roseanne Bar singing the National Anthem in 1990. 'We're back!,' screamed a giant Oprah fan after Winfrey's redeeming pitch.
Wait till the 37 second marker for the actual video to kick in of Roseanne Barr terribly singing the national anthem, grabbing herself and then spitting like she’d been sucking on a chunk of chewing tobacco. She was banned from the MLB after her 1990 singing debut.
